Berks Women in Crisis

Current Wish List Items

We appreciate the desire to donate furniture to our agency for our clients who are moving into apartments with little or no furniture to their names, but please keep in mind that we have very little storage space. Please note that we will not accept broken furniture, washers and dryers that do not work or urine-stained mattresses. We want our clients to feel good about themselves so we want them to have furniture and appliances in very good condition.

If you have items in which you believe our clients may be interested, please contact our Transitional Housing office at 610-898-8268 and leave a message for either Cindy or Chris.

We also appreciate the generosity of those who want to donate clothing, but we have limited storage space for current-season clothing only, so please call the shelter at 610-373-2053 to find out if your potential donation is currently needed by our clients
