Berks Women in Crisis’ mission is to provide supportive services to victims and eliminate domestic and sexual violence in Berks County.

Our free and confidential services include:

• Hotlines in both English and Spanish
• Emergency shelter
• Specially trained staff members will go with victims to local hospitals or the courthouse
• Individual counseling and group support
• Childcare for those staying in shelter
• Support and advice for individuals applying for protection from abuse orders
  
• Representation by an attorney at final PFA hearings in court
• Vast range of support and advocacy services for victims of sexual assault

Other programs include:

• PeaceWorks educational presentations to schools, colleges, child care centers, churches, social organizations, service agencies, businesses, government employees or any entity who requests a program.
• Child Development Center, Emma's Place
• Transitional Housing
