Educational Improvement Tax Credit for a Business
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program authorizes tax credits for
businesses in PA that make contributions to authorized Educational Improvement
Organizations (EIO) or scholarship organizations. The PA Department of Community
and Economic Development administers the EITC program, which enables qualified
businesses to fund educational programs of Berks Women in Crisis with their tax dollars
rather than allocate them to Harrisburg.
For more information, or to contribute through EITC to Berks Women in Crisis, please
read the complete details of the EITC program as well as access the simple one-page
corporate application—both links are posted below. The deadline for EITC applications is on or before June 28, 2012.
